As we reflect on yet another transformative year at theAfrica Research and Impact Network (ARIN), it is with great pride and optimism that we present this edition of our annualnewsletter. This publication provides an overview of our projects, partnerships, and engagements throughout theyear. It highlights our strides in advancing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and driving impactful action in Africa and beyond. We are proud to note that ARIN’s work aligns closely with global climate priorities, and our initiatives continue to be at the forefront of advancing climate adaptation, transdisciplinary research, and evidence-based policymaking. A key highlight of the year has been ARIN’s role in convening and supporting multi-stakeholder engagements on nature-based solutions (NbS), just transitions, and climate-health linkages. Similarly, our CAPCHA platform has created a dedicated space for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge and co-create solutions at the climate-health nexus. These initiatives have directly contributed to the global call for stronger, context-specific adaptation measures emphasized at COP29. Our thought leadership was also evident in our participation
