The Africa Research and Impact Network (ARIN) is a premier research-impact platform comprising over 200 researchers and policymakers with national focal points across 36 African countries. ARIN’s database includes over 3,000 stakeholders from universities, think tanks, private sectors, and governments. Its mission is to promote research excellence and facilitate dialogues on best research and impact practices by providing platforms for science-policy interface across Africa, supported by evidence. Job Summary:
ARIN seeks an ICT and Data Management Intern to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making through innovative technology and data management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop and Maintain the organization’s website and ICT infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot IT-related issues.
- Support data analysis and create visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Collaborate on emerging ICT trends, including AI, cloud computing, and big data.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- One or more programming languages e.g JavaScript, php, Python
- Certifications in ICT and data analysis (e.g., CCNA, Google Data Analytics) are an added advantage.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, SQL, and Power BI.
- Strong technical and communication skills.
