Christian KALINDE RIZIKI is a biologist with expertise in biodiversity conservation, protected area management and climate change. He holds a master’s degree in management, Access and Conservation of Species in Trade. Currently he is working for USAID/Congo DR Mission, through the Central Africa Regional program for Environment (CARPE) office, as the Climate Change Advisor. He is responsible for the overall direction of all activities related to climate change, providing a full range of expert advice on climate change and analytical and technical support to the CARPE office, Support program priorities that build local resilience to climate change and forest protection; and liaising with other mission programs to identify synergies…

KALINDE is also a former “Policy Fellow” for the Africa Climate Change Fellowship Programme, a Mentor for the MyCOE/SERVIR Fellowship Program on climate change, agriculture and food security in East Africa and a member of the “REDD-Climate Working Group” (GTCR) for DRC Civil Society.
