Brian Kipkoech is a PhD student at the Free University of Bolzano (Italy) in collaboration with the University of Lincoln (UK). He holds a master’s degree in Food Identity and Agribusiness from Ecole Supérieure d’Angers (France), a Postgraduate Diploma in Agribusiness from USAMVCLUJ-Nappoca (Romania), and a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management from Chuka University (Kenya).
His research interests encompass Applied Economics, with a focus on Food Economics, Agri-food sectors, Local Value Chains, Agri-economics and Agribusiness, and Geographical Indications.
Brian has gained valuable skills and experience through various training programs and professional engagements, including tutorial assistance at the Free University of Bolzano, participation in the Slow Food Foundations for Biodiversity in Italy, and engagement with the Multimed-Institute of Cyprus for Mountain Sustainability and Products Valorization. He has also received local value chain training at the INAB – Institute of Applied Biosciences in Greece, Thessaloniki.
