Thomas Kizito Oduor is an accomplished engineer with a master’s degree in Information systems and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Nairobi with a focus on strategic information systems. My research interests include the exploration of the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in addressing pressing global and local challenges. This includes leveraging AI to mitigate climate risk, green financing for Agribusiness, SMEs through AI, enhancing the resilience and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through AI-driven solutions, and advancing the application of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technologies to optimize operational efficiency.

Currently I work at a local bank in the technology division utilizing AI and Machine learning in creating new products and enhancing operational efficiencies.
